Abstract
This Regulation provides for detailed technical and procedural conditions for monitoring of air quality, including all related air quality requirements.
Conditions for air quality monitoring are: criteria for determining the minimum number of measuring points and locations for sampling in the case of fixed measurements and in the case when fixed measurements are supplemented by indicative measurements or modeling procedures; air quality measurement and assessment methodology (reference measurement methods and criteria for concentration assessment); data requirements used to assess air quality; method of data quality assurance for air quality assessment (according to the requirements of the standard: SRPS ISO/ IEC 17025); scope and content of information on air quality assessment in accordance with the national Air protection Law.
Air quality requirements are: limit values for the level of pollutants in the air; upper and lower limits for assessing the levels of air pollutants; tolerance limits and tolerance values; concentrations dangerous to human health and concentrations reported to the public; critical levels of air pollutants; target values and (national) long-term targets for air pollutants; deadlines for reaching the limit and/or target values, also for cases when those are exceeded.
