Decree (SFS 2011:646) amending Decree (1994:1716) relative to fishing, use waters and fish culture.

This Decree partly amends Decree (1994:1716) with regard to fishing for salmon and trout which is permitted with hand tools from an anchored boat. Revenue from the sale of fishing licenses shall be gathered in one joint account for Sweden and Finland. Authorized allocated fishing quota shall be considered for monitoring and research purposes. For authorized fishing activities in Sweden and Finland, compliance shall adhere to article 21 of the border river agreement between Sweden and Finland. Municipal Administrative Board shall regulate provisions in accordance to EU regulations (art. 16) related to coastal fishing, aquaculture, lake fishing, investment in marketing of fishing, protection and development of aquatic fauna and flora, landing, and sustainable development of fishing areas.
