Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 11 articles, lays down some amendments and addenda to the Regulation on the marketing of vegetable seed, in accordance with Commission Directive 2006/124/EC amending Council Directive 92/33/EEC on the marketing of vegetable propagating and planting material other than seed and Council Directive 2002/55/EC on the marketing of vegetable seed. In particular, the present Regulation establishes: (1) the list of types of vegetable plants that are intended for agricultural or horticultural production but not for ornamental purposes (art. 1); (2) requirements for the quality of vegetable seed (art. 8); (3) maximum size of the seed lot and the minimum sample of semen for quality analysis (art. 9).
