Abstract
This Act concerns mining activities in the Slovak Republic, as stated under article 1, purpose of the Act is to establish principles of protection and rational utilisation of mineral resources, mainly in prospecting, exploration, development, preparation and mining of deposits of minerals. The Act consists of 45 articles and is divided in the following parts: basic provisions; exploration of deposits and management of reserves of exclusive deposits; protection of mineral wealth; construction of mines and quarries; mining of exclusive deposits; other interventions into the Earth’s crust; mining damages; common provisions; transient and final provisions.
