Law No. 915 “On protection of the atmospheric air”.

This Law regulates relations of natural and legal persons with a view of conservation, restoration of quality of the atmospheric air and ensuring ecological security. The scope of this Law shall be to regulate the activities of natural and legal persons in relation to the emission of pollutants into the atmospheric air, by reducing and (or) preventing pollution of the atmospheric air. This Law shall carry out the following tasks: (a) preservation, improvement and restoration of the state of atmospheric air; (b) prevention and reduction of levels of hazardous chemical, physical, biological and other effects on atmospheric air; (c) ensuring rational use of atmospheric air; (d) strengthening the rule of law and legality in the field of atmospheric air protection; and (e) ensuring environmental security.
