Notification No. 2018/2 on supporting rural youth in the scope of rural development.

This Notification aims at (i) ensuring agricultural sustainability, (ii) supporting young entrepreneurs, (iii) increasing incomes, (iv) creating alternative sources of income and (v) contributing to rural youth employment. This Notification sets forth provisions on the duties and authorities of the General Directorate, Provincial Directorate and District Directorate under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, as well as the Evaluation Committee and Implementation Unit of the Project, and requirements for application, and sanctions. This Notification shall apply to young farmers’ projects in the fields of animal breeding, apiculture, sericulture, poultry, dairy production, production of plants and planting materials, horticulture, fruit growing, greenhouse production, forage plant production, organic farming, good agricultural practices, and production, processing, packaging and storage of local, medicinal and aromatic plants.
