Notification No. 2020/24 on supporting agricultural-based economic investments within the scope of rural development support.

This Notification lays down provisions regarding grant payments to be made for the investments of real and legal persons, primarily women and young entrepreneurs, in agricultural-based economic activities, in order to provide economic and social development in rural areas, to develop agricultural and non-agricultural employment, and to increase and differentiate incomes, during 1/1/2021-31/12/2025. The objective of this Notification is to support the investments including new technology, for increasing the income level in rural areas, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to ensure the integration of agricultural production and agriculture-based industry, developing agricultural marketing infrastructure, ensuring retrospective traceability, strengthening food safety, creating alternative income sources in rural areas, strengthening rural economic infrastructure, expanding the use of new technologies developed for agricultural activities by producers, increasing the effectiveness of rural development activities, and contributing to the capacity building of rural communities in the context of local development.
