Notification No. 2023/25 amending the Notification No. 2022/37 on state support for plant production.

This Notification amends Article 16(1) of the principal Notification regarding the state support for using domestically produced and certified seeds for the 2023 production year. It provides for the certified seed use support for farmers who produce sesame and peanut in all basins and who sow/plant other products subject to support using domestically produced and certified seeds in the basins listed in the annex of the Presidential Decree No. 6243. Support payments shall be calculated according to the unit prices specified in the Certified Seed Use Support section numbered (10) of the Crop Production Support Unit Prices table in Annex 1 of the principal Notification. This amendments supports farmers in places affected by the earthquake that occurred on 6 February 2023 and declared a disaster area by making payments with a 100% increase in unit support prices. Additionally, it supports farmers who planted oil sunflower seeds produced and certified domestically on their lands registered in the Farmer Registration System in the production year 2023 in basins where the Ministry has determined that groundwater levels are insufficient and there is water constraint.
