Abstract
This Notification lays down obligations, restrictions and prohibitions in commercial fisheries between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2028, in order to protect fisheries resources and ensure their sustainable management, taking into account scientific, environmental, economic and social aspects. It sets out provisions on prohibited fishing areas in Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea, Marmara Sea, Black Sea, other marine areas and in inland waters; prohibited fishing gears and methods; protected species; minimum sizes of freshwater and marine fishes; bycatch; time and area restrictions; aquatic products for feed purposes; aquatic plant production in inland waters; transfer/origin certificate for fish products; amateur fishing tourism activities for commercial purposes; and other obligations, restrictions and prohibitions in inland and marine fisheries.
