Abstract
This Notification lays down obligations, restrictions and prohibitions in fisheries for the conservation of fisheries resources and sustainable fisheries taking into account scientific, environmental, economic and social aspects. This Notification sets forth provisions on marine protected areas in Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea, Marmara Sea, Black Sea and other areas; prohibited fishing areas; protected species; minimum size limits for caught fish; and obligations, restrictions and prohibitions in inland fisheries, freshwater fisheries and marine fisheries. These provisions shall be implemented between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2024.
