Notification No. 2024/23 for the implementation of state support for animal husbandry.

This Notification provides for state support to animal breeders for the purposes of developing animal husbandry and ensuring sustainability; increasing the effectiveness in the implementation of animal husbandry policies; contributing to production planning; encouraging domestic production; increasing production, efficiency and quality; protecting and developing domestic animal genetic resources on-site; keeping records up-to-date; and combating animal diseases and healthy animal production. It covers the procedures and principles regarding livestock supports included in the Presidential Decree No. 8760 on state support for animal husbandry covering the period between 2024 and 2026.
This Notification lays down rules concerning the state support for animal husbandry with regards to: calves; young buffalo calves; female buffalo; brood sheep and goat; herd renewal and improvement; apiculture; sericulture; employment of herd manager (shepherd); buying heifers; fattening male cattle/buffalo; angora goat and mohair production; management of waste, such as veterinary drugs and vaccines; disease-free businesses; scheduled vaccine and ear tag applications; and in-situ conservation and development of animal genetic resources.
