Notification No. 2023/41 on support for animal husbandry.

This Notification provides for state support to animal breeders for the purposes of improving animal husbandry and ensuring sustainability, increasing the efficiency in the implementation of livestock policies, ensuring in situ protection and the development of indigenous animal genetic resources, keeping records up to date, and ensuring healthy animal production by fighting animal diseases. It covers the procedures and principles regarding livestock supports included in the Presidential Decree No. 7613 on agricultural support in 2023 and support to use certified seeds in 2024.
This Notification lays down rules concerning the state support for animal husbandry with regards to: calves; young buffalo calves; female buffalo; brood sheep and goat; herd renewal and improvement; apiculture; sericulture; employment of herd manager (shepherd); buying heifers; fattening male cattle/buffalo; angora goat and mohair production; management of waste, such as veterinary drugs and vaccines; disease-free businesses; scheduled vaccine and ear tag applications; and in-situ conservation and development of animal genetic resources.
