Abstract
This Regulation sets forth the procedures and principles governing agricultural quarantine efforts. Plants and plant products that are not allowed to be imported are listed in the Annex to the Regulation. Furthermore, the Regulation lays down the list of plants and plant products which may be imported under certain conditions. Transit movements of plants are subject to monitoring. To be imported, plants must be accompanied by a health certificate issued by the competent body of the exporting country. The Regulation lays down the list of admitted entry points.
