Abstract
This Regulation provides for the principles and procedures of the collection from nature, production, harvest, storage, marketing and export of seeds, bulbs, tubers, rhizomes, corms or other parts, in order to protect bulbous plants. This Regulation lays down provisions on the classification of natural flower bulbs in terms of supply, production and export; publication of an export list, including natural flower bulbs which are export-prohibited or subject to export quota; CITES scientific authority of Türkiye and relevant committees and their duties; export capabilities of companies for the export of natural flower bulbs which are subject to export quota; and administrative sanctions. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry shall carry out practices regarding the import and re-export of natural flower bulbs. Within the scope of this Regulation, the approval of the CITES Certificate for the species included in the CITES Appendices and the documents regarding the natural flower bulb transactions by the Ministry is subject to a fee.
