Regulation on increasing the efficient use of energy resources and energy.

This Regulation sets forth the principles and procedures of increasing the efficient use of energy resources and energy, to prevent waste of energy, to alleviate the burden of energy costs on the economy and to protect environment. This Regulation also sets forth the principles and procedures of authorization of universities, trade association and consultancy firms for the orientation and dissemination of studies and services for the energy efficiency, energy management practices, duties and responsibilities of energy directors and energy management units, training and certification procedures related to the efficient use of energy, supporting studies and projects, increasing energy efficiency in consumption, distribution, generation and transmission of electricity, using waste heat in steam power plants, outdoor area lighting, promoting the use of alternative fuels such as hydrogen, biofuels and administrative sanctions.
