Abstract
This Regulation aims to decrease and reduce pollution of water including surface waters and groundwater and the surrounding of water by hazardous substances. It sets standards and defines technical and administrative principles on determining the hazardous substances causing pollution. The Regulation also requires a policy programme to reduce pollution of water by hazardous substances to be developed and an inventory of hazardous substances which are discharged into water to be created.
