Abstract
The purpose of this regulation is to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment. This Regulation sets forth provisions on chemical safety assessment, human health hazard assessment, physicochemical hazard assessment, environmental hazard assessment, registration of plant protection substances and biocidal products, registration of on-site and transported isolated intermediates, import and export of substances, data collection, safety data sheet, permit, and restrictions. This Regulation shall not apply to radioactive substances, substances, which are subject to customs supervision and are in temporary storage, non-isolated intermediates, the carriage of dangerous substances, and waste. This Regulation has been drafted in line with the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.
