Abstract
In order to take necessary measures to protect public health and the environment and to minimize loss of life and property, this Regulation lays down rules for the coordination, cooperation and mutual assistance of responsible institutions for preparedness, response and recovery in pre- and post-disaster phases against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats and hazards. The responsible institutions for carrying out measures and services are the ministries, public and private sector institutions and organizations, governorships, universities, military associations and non-governmental organizations and volunteers. This Regulation sets forth provisions on the duties and liabilities of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the Ministry of Health, and other relevant institutions and stakeholders.
