Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to determine the duties and responsibilities of relevant institutions and organizations, and within the framework of civil-military cooperation, the Turkish Armed Forces, before, during, and after the incident, as well as the principles of necessary cooperation and coordination, in order to prevent or minimize damage to human health and the environment from chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats and hazards that may occur domestically or internationally and affect the country. This Regulation lays down the duties and responsibilities of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services, Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Nuclear Regulatory Authority, Presidency of the Energy, Nuclear and Mining Agency, Scientific and Technological Research Council (TÜBİTAK), governorships and provincial directorates, and civil society organizations.
