This Part of Title 50 lays down regulations to provide uniform rules and procedures for the assessment of civil penalties in connection with violations of certain laws and regulations enforced by the Service. The regulations contained in this part apply only to actions arising under the laws and regulations listed under § 11.2. The regulations set out assessment procedures; hearing and appeal procedures; and inflation adjustment of each civil monetary penalty provided by law within the jurisdiction of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
