Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations Listing Notice 3 of 2014 (No. R. 985 of 2014).

This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs identifies activities that require authorization prior to commencement. It also identifies competent authorities for purposes of sections 24(2) and 24D of the National Environmental Management Act. Investigation, assessment and communication of potential impact of activities must follow the procedure as described in regulations 22 to 24 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014. Activities include construction in protected areas, including estuaries and critical biodiversity areas, in the field of water supply and in coastal zones and wetlands.
