Law No. 9362 on the Plant Protection Service.

This Law aims at protecting plants and plant products from pests, preventing the outbreak and spread within the territory of Albania of pests, protecting human health, animals health and the environment. Moreover, it aims at guaranteeing the application of international agreements in the area of plant protection. The Law is composed of seven Chapters: (I) General Provisions; (II) Organization and Functioning of the Plant Protection Service Responsible Structures; (III) Fighting against Pests; (IV) Phitosanitary Inspection; (V) Plant Protection Products; (VI) Administrative Offences; (VII) Final Provisions.
