Abstract
This Law defines all necessary standards and rulers governing the food and food related matters on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, part of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Law also prescribes all food related affairs, including the: inspection and monitoring duties and requirements, concrete responsibility of the national authorities and other food related competent bodies on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, food quality and food hygiene standards and rules (including the processing and handling, transport and storage, toxins and ingredients), animal food provisions, and other important issues defining the correct and sustainable food chain and food related sector.
The Law is divided into 15 Chapters and 65 articles, including all offences an d related penalties.
