Law on organic production.

This Law prescribes all necessary standards, information and technical issues aimed to correctly govern the entire organic production sector on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, autonomous district of the Federation of BIH.
Rules and requirements provided by this Law are related to the production of agricultural products and other methods of organic production, the objectives and principles of organic production, organic production methods, control and certification of organic production, processing, labelling, storage, transport, trade, import and export of organic products, as well as other important issues for organic production.
The provisions of this Law shall apply to products originating in all phases of organic crop and livestock production, including aquaculture animals, when these products are intended to be put on the market, and they are: a) primary agricultural products; b) processed agricultural products to be used as food and/or feed; g) seeds, seedlings and planting materials; d) yeasts used as food and feed.
The Law is divided into 7 Chapters and 40 articles, including the offences and related penalties.
