Law on seeds and planting material of agricultural plants.

This Law defines the: conditions for the production, preparation for marketing, import and marketing of seeds and planting material for agricultural production (cereals, industrial, forage, farm, medicinal, aromatic and fruit trees, vines, hops, ornamental plants); obligations of persons engaged in the production, preparation for marketing, import and marketing of seeds and agricultural planting material; rules aimed to define the registration of varieties; and activities in the area of public service performance.
Major objectives of this Law are aimed to ensure the quality of seeds and planting materials for agricultural production in order to enhance the cost-effective production, storage, environment and consumer protection in this sector.
The Law is divided into XIV Chapters and 82 articles, including offences and related penalties.
