Abstract
The present Regulation enacts the Livestock Identification and Commerce Act. Section 10 establishes that prior to transportation livestock must be inspected, and section 16 rules that a livestock permit is required to transport or drive livestock which may be issued by an inspector. The text consists of 97 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: Application of Act (1); Registration of livestock brands and honorary brands (2); Transporting or driving livestock (3); Sale of livestock (4); Livestock dealers and livestock dealer’s agents (5); Miscellaneous (6). Two Schedules are enclosed.
Entry into force notes
For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this Regulation expires on 30 June 2017.
