Abstract
This Act ensures financial contribution to sustainable rural development, promoting in particular environmental, economic and socio-cultural conditions for a number of projects aimed to support initiatives under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries may lay down rules for monitoring, supervision, accounting and audit related to decisions and actions supported by this Act. It also establishes rules for non-eligible measures in accordance with EU Regulations on subsidy for rural development.
The Order consists of 6 Chapters: Scope and purpose (1); Grants schemes (2); Aid for young farmers (3); Provisions (4); Penal Provisions (5); Entry into force (6).
