Abstract
This Order lays down rules on the import of animal food and the application of veterinary control at border posts. The purpose of this Order is to ensure that food is accompanied by a health certificate or special commercial documents. Food which does not adhere to EU production and marketing rules may be imported only after prior permission from the Food Agency authorities.
The Order consists of 14 Chapters and 21 Annexes: Scope and definition (1); Trade (2); Imports from third countries (3); Imports for free circulation of conformed foodstuff originating in third countries (4); Import of non-harmonized food originating in third countries (5); Transit and storage of non-conformed foodstuff originating in third countries (6); Transportation of food from and to third country via transit through Denmark (7); Returns (8); Private imports (9); Samples (10); Identification of warehouses (11); Sealing (12); Transition and waiver provisions (13); Penal and entry into force provisions (14).
