Abstract
This Order aims to prevent health hazards from pesticides by authorizing their use. These regulations include transport of pesticides, internal trade and export of pesticides. The Order aims to prevent health hazards, unnecessary environmental impact and environmental damage during production, storage, use and disposal of chemical substances and products in order to reduce problems associated with waste disposal and applies to pesticides used for protection of plants or plant products against harmful organisms, influence of life processes of plants, preservation of products derived from plants that are unprocessed or having undergone simple preparation such as milling, drying or pressing, and for which there are no specific EU rules on preservatives, and to prevent undesired growth of weeds.
It consists of 14 Chapters and 15 Annexes: Scope (1); Authentication (2); Classification (3); Packaging and labeling of plant protection agents (4); Packaging and labeling of biocides (5); Sales (6); Storage (7); Application (8); Experimental testing (9); Charges and fees (10); Notification requirements regarding Biocides (11); Authorities (12); Penalty (13); Entry into force and transitional provisions (14).
