Abstract
This Act aims to prevent health hazards, unnecessary environmental impact and environmental damage during production, storage, use and disposal of chemical substances and products in order to reduce problems associated with waste disposal.
The Act consists of 13 Chapters: Scope and purpose (1); General provisions (2); Export notification (3); Classification, packaging, labeling and storage of substances and products (4); Sale of toxic substances and products (5); Reduction of occurrence and use of substances (6); Approval of pesticides (7); Self-monitoring, notification and inspection duty (8); Expert Advisory Councils and National Action Plans (9); Authorities (10); Decisions (11); Communication (11a); Confidentiality and public disclosure of information (12); Exemption from entry in the Official Gazette of technical specifications (12a); Penalty and entry into force (13).
