Order No. 37 on subsidies for conversion to organic farming.

Abstract
The Danish AgriFish Agency may grant subsidies to owners and tenants of farms in order to convert agricultural land into organic farming. In order to apply for subsidies, farmers shall ensure to send their requests between the period of 1 September on the application year, and 31 August of the following five years. Criteria for application requires an authorization by the Danish AgriFish Agency to operate organic agricultural products, that these farming areas are not afforested, that they are not eligible for forestry subsidy, that these areas are not forest reserves, except for non-vegetated protected forest areas. Additionally, criteria for grants does not apply to areas under EU-Directive agreements with regard to criteria for allocation of funds to restore wetlands or under the Order on wetlands restoration.
