Abstract
Annex I to Directive 91/414/EC is replaced by the text in Annex I to this Directive. Member States shall bring into force the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive by 1 July 2002 at the latest.In particular they shall, in accordance with Directive 91/414/EC, where necessary, amend or withdraw existing authorizations for plant protection products containing lambda-cyhalothrin as an active substance by that date. (5 Articles and 2 Annexes)

Entry into force notes
This Directive shall enter into force on the 20th day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
Notes
The provisions in Article 2 concerning the active substance lambda-cyhalothrin together with the inclusion of this active substance in Annex I to Directive 91/414/EEC apply from 1 January 2002.
