Commission Regulation (EC) No. 498/2007 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1198/2006 on the European Fisheries Fund.

This Regulation lays down detailed measures to implement Regulation (EC) No. 1198/2006 establishing the European Fisheries Fund. Its provisions define the content of the operational programmes to be drawn up by each Member State in order to implement the policies and priorities financed by the European Fisheries Fund taking into consideration the gender perspective. Detailed implementing measures are laid down as regards: (a) the structure and transmission of operational programmes; (b) the evaluation of operational programmes; (c) information and publicity; (d) financial engineering instruments; (e) management, monitoring and control of operational programmes; (f) electronic exchange of data.
