Abstract
This Regulation lays down provisions for the verification of reports submitted pursuant to Directive 2003/87/EC, which establishes a scheme for greenhouse gas emission allowance trading within the Community in order to promote reductions of greenhouse gas emissions in a cost effective and economically efficient manner. Furthermore this Regulation makes provision on the accreditation and supervision of verifiers.
