Abstract
This Regulation hereby prescribes various provisions aimed to define and offer a full set of measures for the rational management and conservation of tuna (and similar/related fish species as listed in the text) on the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
This Regulation closely determines the government quotas; catch quotas and total allowable catch quotas for all forms of fishing and fishing gear; allowed tools and equipment; management measures (for the catch capacity of the fishing fleet); time ban on the use of certain fishing gear; minimum catch size; concrete tuna fishing (Thunnusthynnus), swordfish (Xiphias gladius) and Mediterranean spearfish (Tetrapturus belone) provisions; provisions regarding the recreational fishing (non-commercial ) for above mentioned species; breeding provisions; permissible total input quantities of tuna on fish farms; report issues on delivery of catch, transfer, transhipment, landings and aquaculture; and many other.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
