Abstract
This Regulation defines the rules for the implementation of the schemes of fruit and vegetables as foods to be present in Croatian schools, by defining the: target groups, eligible products and frequency and manner of delivery and distribution.
This text transposes and respects the provisions contained in the following documents: Regulation (EU) no. 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 establishing a common organization of agricultural markets and its repealing Regulations (EEC) No. 922/72, (EEC) No. 234/79, (EC) No. 1037/2001 and (EC) No. 1234/2007; Commission Regulation (EC) No. 288/2009 of 7 April 2009 laying down the detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1234/2007 regarding the Community aid for supplying fruit and vegetables, processed fruit and vegetables and banana products for children in educational institutions, in the context of a school fruit scheme; Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1913/2006 of 20 December 2006 laying down the detailed rules for the application of agro-monetary system for the euro in agriculture and its amending Regulations.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
