Regulation on the registration and approval of establishments and on registration of food business operators.

This Regulation sets out the procedures for registration and approval of establishments and also defines the related procedures for registration of food business operators.
The text further determines the manner of keeping of the Register of facilities and entities in food business; the conditions to be met by food facilities or establishments; and special rules on direct sales through short supply chains of small quantities of primary products of animal origin supplied by manufacturer to the final consumer or to a local retail that is directly supplying the possible final consumer. Milk, fish, eggs, bee products, meat, poultry and other animal origin foods are here indicted as targeted foods.
Facilities subject to registration are listed in article 5; deadline for performing the first official control is determined in article 11.
