Abstract
The purpose of this Act is to reduce the risk of climate change caused by human activities through the creation of the conditions permitting the participation of Hungary in the scheme of greenhouse gas emission allowance trading within the European Community and in international projects. The provisions of this Act must be applied to the activities emitting greenhouse gases listed in Annex 1. These activities must bear an emission authorization issued by the environmental authority. According to Community legislation, this Act comprises also rules regarding the obligations (reporting and monitoring of emissions) of aviation activities.
