Abstract
The aim of this Law is to protect the interests of national viticulture, to improve wine quality, the marketability of wine products and to establish self-governing organs interested in the introduction of up-to-date rules for the protection of origin and quality. Wine growers' associations can be established for the promotion of common interests of wine growers and buyers living in the same village and for the protection of wine origin and quality. The Law regulates, inter alia, the constitution of wine growers' associations, their organs and the duties and operation of these organs, membership, territorial and national organizations of the associations (wine-production area councils and the National Council) and the supervision of legality of the associations' activities.
