European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Movement of Pet Birds) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 96 of 2007).

This Order gives effect to Commission Decision No. 2007/25/EC concerning certain protective measures with regard to pet birds imported from third countries.
The Regulations place restrictions on the importation from third countries of live bird other than poultry, as defined in Article 1 of Commission Decision No. 2000/666/EC and require a certificate of an official veterinarian of the country of origin in accordance with the model in Annex II Commission Decision 2007/25/EC and a declaration by the owner or representative of the owner in accordance with Annex III of the Commission Decision.
