Regional Act No. 6 laying down provisions on hunting.

This Regional Act sets out the rules and principles concerning the management and protection of wild fauna in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. In particular, it specifies the functions which pertain to regional, provincial and municipal authorities and further defines the procedures for the adoption and approval of programmes and interventions in this field. As regards the institutional framework, article 6 sets up the Regional Committee on Fauna. This Act includes provisions governing hunting activities. Particular regard is given to the establishment of hunting areas, hunters’ associations and hunting permits. Final provisions deal with offences and related penalties.
