Abstract
This Law determines the sources of funds for financing of the national water management, including the manner of calculation and payment of fees for the protection and use of water and additional water resource management and other issues of importance for correct and useful use of these funds.
The provisions here stipulated are meant to apply to water, water facilities and systems established in accordance to the rules of the Law governing the water in general terms.
The Law is divided into V Chapters and 27 articles, including the offences and related penalties.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the "Official Gazette of Montenegro", and shall apply from 1 January 2009.
