Abstract
This Decree applies to the establishment and operation of all types of fish breeding installations. These installations shall be operated having regard to technical, biological and above all environmental requirements.
The 35 sections are divided into 4 Chapters: Introductory provisions (I); Establishment (II); Operation (III); General provisions (IV).
Installations shall be established in accordance with designs and drawings which shall be attached to the application (sect. 4). The operator of the installations shall operate the installations in accordance an operation plan prepared by him and approved by the regional office of the Directorate of Fisheries (sect. 8) and keep books on activities of the establishment (sect. 9). Other provisions of Chapter III lay down hygienic rules for fish breeding activities. They, inter alia, formulate norms for the handling of waste require and operators to mark equipment. They also regulate the use of animal medicines from an environment point of view.
