Abstract
This Regulation applies to commercial fishery, where the sale of hunt and fishing is equivalent to more than 50 000 NOK each calendar year, and to the acquisition license, registration and identification of fishing vessels. Requirement of prior activity of fishery shall not apply when granting fishing permits to vessels under 15 meters in length. The application may be refused if a valid trade certificate stating updated vessel instruction, approval, build verification or other documentation is not submitted. Application for replacement or sale of continued fishing shall be refused to vessels if the application is processed by petition for compulsory coverage of the vessel in accordance to the Enforcement Act No. 86 of 26 June 1992. The same applies in case of bankruptcy or to temporary injunction prohibiting the exchange or sale of vessels. Application for acquisition permit, special permit and annual participant access and applications for special permit arrangements shall be made by submitting to the Directorate of Fisheries. Fees are specified under article 11. Registration thereof shall contain information on the vessel, such as make (county, serial number and municipality), call sign, name, electronic identification number assigned by the Directorate of Fisheries, IMO number, size, gross tonnage, year of construction, engine built, power, and the date of the certificate / identity proof.
