Abstract
This Regulation sets guidelines with regard to food control assessment and recognition of standard - if appropriate - for the certification of aquaculture ecological production. This shall be done in accordance with EU provisions. Businesses certified by Debio pursuant to March 2013 Debio standard rules for organic aquaculture, shall be authorized under this Regulation. these which have paid fees for 2015 prior to entry into force of this Regulation, shall NOT pay a new fee for 2015.
The Regulation consists of 7 Chapters and 7 Appendices: Introductory provisions (1); Requirements related to all production (2); Specific requirements for production of seaweeds (3); Specific requirements for production of aquaculture (4); Specific requirements for the production of processed food and feedstuff (5); Collection, packaging, transport and storage of products (6); Final provisions (7).
Appendix 1 - Products for cleaning and disinfecting the production of aquaculture animals and seaweed.
Appendix 2 - Production system and density of species.
Appendix 3 Authorized tools in organic production.
Appendix 4 Authorized feed additives in organic production.
Appendix 5 - Additives which may be used in production of processed organic aquaculture products.
Appendix 6 - Ingredients of agricultural origin NOT organically produced, but authorized in production of processed organic aquaculture.
