Abstract
This Regulation lays down the legislative framework relevant to the sustainable development of organic production. It sets forth rules concerning: (a) all stages of production, preparation and distribution of organic products and their control; (b) the use of indications referring to organic production in labelling and advertising. Such rules apply to processed and unprocessed products originating from agriculture and aquaculture, including feedingstuffs, vegetative propagating material and seeds for cultivation.
