Abstract
The Act establishes the bases for a hunting resources sustained management, including its conservation and development. It consists of 10 chapters defining the different items involved with hunting sector and specifying the aims of the Law (chap. 1); Conservation of animal species, establishing the restrictions to be applied particularly in order to protect animals during mating seasons (chap. 2); Management of hunting resources, defining authorized hunting areas (chap. 3); Hunting activity regulation, including licensing (chap. 4); Ranch (chap. 5); Dangerous hunting activity (chap. 6); Management and control (chap. 7); Administrations involved in hunting sector (chap. 8); Hunting Associations (chap. 9); Final provisions (chap. 10). This Act regulates also living and dead animals trade, which must be authorized by competent entities under the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Wild Fauna and Flora. It establishes controls and sanctions to be paid for illegal hunting activity.
