Abstract
This Law provides complete rules for: protection, management, hunting, and improvement of the wild animal population; protection, preservation and improvement of wild animal habitat; protection and maintenance of hunting sites; and other matters related to hunting and wild animals.
The object of this Law is the sustainable management of wild animals' population and their natural biotope, in a way to secure their vitality, biodiversity, quantity and quality that will be necessary also for economic, ecologic and social functions of hunting.
Wild animals are natural wealth and property of the Serbian Republic. They are meant to be used in a proper way, as the Law regulates.
