Abstract
This Federal Law establishes the legal basis for industrial production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcohol products and spirituous liquors on the territory of the Russian Federation. State regulation in the field of industrial manufacturing and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcohol products and spirituous liquors is aimed at the protection of economic interests of the Russian Federation, of ensuring the consumers’ demand for the above-mentioned commodities as well as quality improvement and carrying out control over observance of the legislation, norms and regulations in this sphere. The document consists of IV Chapters that contain 26 Articles. Chapter I lays down the general provisions. It contains Articles 1-7. Chapter II establishes the requirements for the manufacturing and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcohol products and spirituous liquors. It contains Articles 8-17. Chapter III regards licensing in the field of manufacturing and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcohol products and spirituous liquors. It contains Articles 18-22. Chapter IV regards control over the observance of this Federal Law and establishes the liability for its infringement. It contains Articles 23-26.
