Abstract
The Government decrees that the quotas for fishing (harvest) of aquatic biodiversity correspondingly to fishing areas and species within the total allowable catch are established yearly by the Government. The Federal Fisheries Committee is entitled to determine yearly by the 1st of November the quotas for the year to come and forward the estimates to the Government. The quotas must be specified as follows: a) quotas for foreign fishing; b) quotas for research and planning purposes; c) quotas for industrial catch (harvest) to be sold by auction; d) industrial quotas for coastal zones that deliver fish products to the fish-processing industries within the national territory or for internal trade.
